    ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) - Court documents say an Allen County man threatened to kill more than a hundred attendees at Central Ministries' Living Nativity event Saturday night. Police say Tyler Leavitt, 40, pulled up to the event at the church's main campus on Schwartz Road just after 9 p.m. Saturday, a few minutes after the event formally ended.

    KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) - Two people are dead after a head-on crash in rural Kosciusko County, the Sheriff's Office says. Sheriff's deputies say the two-car crash happened at 8:49 p.m. on Thanksgiving on Old Road 30, west of Brallier Road. Deputies say Manuel Apolinar Tlahuetl, 24, of Warsaw, and Heather M. Rice, 54, of Columbia City, died on scene after crashing head-on. Deputies say they don't know what caused the crash.

    FINDLAY, Ohio (WFFT) - Police wrote hundreds of citations after a slew of traffic stops as part of the 13th annual "Lights for Lives" campaign. The campaign ran from 6 p.m. on November 25th to 6 a.m. on November 27th, the day before Thanksgiving. Local law enforcement from Williams, Fulton, Lucas, Defiance, Henry, Wood, Putnam, Paulding, Hancock, Van Wert, Allen, and Hardin Counties teamed up with the Ohio State Highway Patrol to increase traffic stops and citations for traffic violations.

    By By: Jacob Newlin DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WFFT) - A Kendallville woman was hurt after hitting a deer with her car Friday morning, according to a release from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff's deputies say the woman was driving eastbound on State Road 8 northwest of Garrett around 2:40 a.m. Deputies say a deer entered the road in front of her car, causing the crash. She was taken to a hospital with arm, leg, and abdominal injuries.

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - The Fort Wayne Fire Department welcomed the graduates of the 96th recruit class during a ceremony Thursday night. 29 new firefighters joined the FWFD after graduating from the 23-week training program. They're now continuing to train alongside firefighters at the city's 18 fire stations. The city says 38% of the 96th recruit class are from underrepresented groups. That includes one Black man, five Hispanic men, three multiracial men, and two women.
