Manchester looked comfortable on the home field of the Fort Wayne TinCaps, slugging 20 hits en route to the 14-6 victory over Trine. The two Northeast Indiana DIII squads were playing at Parkview Field as part of the PSM Classic, which gives regional high school and college teams the chance to compete in Fort Wayne's MiLB stadium.

De Vries went 5-5 with two home runs and hit for the cycle, helping Fort Wayne overcome a seven-run deficit en route to the 15-14 victory. De Vries hit his first home run of the evening in his first at bat, launching the TinCaps to a 1-0 lead. The Padres top prospect then doubled with two outs in the third inning but didn't score.
