FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Two Northeast Indiana girls tennis teams remain among the final 16 in the state. Carroll and Homestead both claimed Regional titles Wednesday evening, booking their spots into the Semi-State Championships of the IHSAA Girls Tennis team tournament. Carroll hosted their own regional and looked more than comfortable on their home court. The Chargers picked up a 5-0 sweep of Concordia Lutheran in the Regional Championship dual match.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - One of the top high school basketball players to graduate from Northeast Indiana was back on the court in Fort Wayne Tuesday evening. Connor Essegian attended a Team Focus practice, where he talked with the young athletes about his path through college basketball. Essegian graduated from Central Noble High School as one of the top scorers in Indiana history. He began his college career at Wisconsin where he was named Big Ten All-Freshman.
