The Seahawks love to select Rams targets in recent drafts. But if the Seahawks do so in the 2025 NFL Draft, good for them. When it comes to the Los Angeles Rams selecting their top rookie target, one NFC West Division nemesis seems to know who the Rams want and grabs him first. It's a double whammy to the Rams' draft strategy from the rival's perspective. Not only do the Seattle Seahawks act to strengthen their roster, but in the process, they snatch a top rookie target away from the Rams' hands.

What you need to know. We are not too far away from the Seattle Seahawks choosing some new players. The 2025 NFL draft will be held on the final weekend of April. What the team will do is anyone's guess. 12s know that the team needs to address the interior of its offensive line, but general manager John Schneider has no history of doing so in the first round. Seahawks fans might need to wait until Day 2 to see a guard chosen. The team is probably not going to take a center.

Just say no. I recently wrote an article about how inevitable the trades of Geno Smith and DK Metcalf appear in hindsight. Between the time I wrote it and the time it was published, two of my fellow 12th Man scribes wrote pieces about how inane it would be to trade Kenneth Walker III, as had been proposed in a bit of recent speculation on Bleacher Report. It got me wondering whether the Seattle roster currently has any players who should be deemed off-limits when considering trades this offseason.

NFL free agency is not far away, and some intriguing names look set to be available on the open market in 2025. However, with limited star power and sometimes even starting-caliber options available at some positions, we could see a lot of competition from needy teams. That could then drive up the prices that those teams are willing to pay for the top-tier free agents this offseason.
