    Washington State Patrol officials issued a formal apology after at least 50 graduating Patrol Troopers interrupted the raising of the Pride flag at the state capitol in Olympia on Wednesday. The Washington State LGBTQ Commission and the Rainbow Alliance and Inclusion Network (the LGBTQ+ Business Resource Group for state employees) hosted the flag raising. Gov.     Three elementary school-aged girls who went missing five days ago from Wenatchee were found dead on Monday near Leavenworth in Chelan County. Here’s what we know. The three sisters — Olivia Decker, 5; Evelyn Decker, 8; and Paityn Decker, 9 — were reported missing on Friday by their mother. She told police her ex-husband, 32-year-old Travis Decker, had not returned them as outlined in their custody agreement and was not answering the phone.

    An 11-year-old was in critical condition after what appeared to be a gang-related shooting Monday evening near Everett, according to the Snohomish County sheriff’s office. A 17-year-old was also shot. Sheriff deputies found the two boys with gunshot wounds around 6:30 p.m. at the Gateway Apartments in the 13100 block of 21st Drive Southeast, a news release states. The 11-year-old sustained life-threatening injuries, and the 17-year-old had wounds that weren’t considered life-threatening.

    Seattle police released body-worn camera footage Monday showing an officer shooting at an armed suspect in Belltown last week. The shooting occurred after two police officers patrolling the area spotted a man who appeared to be selling drugs near Second Avenue and Battery Street around 12:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Seattle Police Department. When approached, the man fled toward Third Avenue, brandishing a handgun at the officers.

SPD is saying one person was killed in this shooting. Additionally, a fatal stabbing occurred a few blocks down on 4th Ave this evening. The incidents aren’t connected. Chief Barnes is expected to speak to media soon.
