JYSK store is scheduled to open in Tullamore Retail Park on Thursday, June 12 at 9am. The opening is part of JYSK's expansion in Ireland, bringing their total number of stores in the country to 27. The Tullamore store will be located in the former Argos premises, Unit D, at the Tullamore Retail Park. The international home furnishing retailer with Scandinavian roots, received permission from Offaly County Council to open a unit in Tullamore last January.

It was a bright Thursday evening when I pulled into the gravel driveway of a tucked-away workshop in the heart of Offaly. From the outside, the Men's Shed looked like many others around Ireland – simple, practical, and quiet. But step inside, and you discover something far greater than timber and tools.
