Weather could get dicey as afternoon storms possible arrive in San Antonio. Thunderstorms are beginning to flare up near the Alamo City, according to National Weather Service radar. In a recent forecast report, NWS says isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for Saturday, June 14 especially during daytime heating. New changes are on the way for San Antonio Costco members that will impact your shopping experience. In an email to sent Costco members, the wholesaler announced it is adjusting store hours for Executive Members. Those hours will now shift to 9 a.m., an hour before Gold Star members can head into the store. Costco also shared the news on Facebook, which garnered mixed reactions from customers. The change in hours seems to particularly resonate with moms who are typically up early with the kiddos.

Did thunderstorms shake up your neighborhood last night? If they didn't, you may have another chance to see storms tonight. San Antonio faces a level 2 out of 5, or "slight," risk for severe weather starting Wednesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). "There is a Level 1 to 2 out of 5 risk for isolated to scattered severe storms this afternoon and evening. The greatest risk is across the I-10 corridor including and east of San Antonio," NWS said.

Investigators are looking into a child's death after she was found unconscious inside a restroom at San Antonio school. The incident happened Friday, June 6 at Excelled Montessori School in Boerne, 30 miles northwest of San Antonio on Interstate 10. According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, the 6-year-old girl went to use the restroom and after a few minutes a school staff member went to check on her when they discovered her unconscious.
