The Cedar Park Police Department reported the scene in the 2600 block of Stapleford Drive between South Bagdad Road and Bell Boulevard down the road from Lone Tree Park on February 2. A woman in Taylor is hoping to purchase the historic Howard Theatre and restore and reopen it. The Howard Theatre is located on Main Street in downtown Taylor and was built in 1924. It was originally located across the street from its current location which is the former Rita Theater which was built in 1940. For nearly 100 years, the Howard has entertained people, but it was forced to close due to the pandemic and its pipes bursting during the 2021 freeze.

A Austin sandwich shop made headlines after it posted a viral video of a dog holding a sub sandwich. Co-owners Albert and Agon Demi, who also happen to be brothers, opened Cooper's Sandwiches in Southwest Austin in 2019. Albert says he and his wife adopted Cooper almost nine years ago and at the time Cooper was very anxious and wasn't really eating. One day they went and got some subs and left them on a table and when they stepped away, Cooper grabbed one off the table and ate it.
