MOLINE, Ill. — For better or worse, technology is a way of life, but, one national nonprofit is making sure millions of students, including some in the Quad Cities, are striking the right note in the classroom. Music Workshop is a nonprofit organization started in 2012 in Portland, Oregon. They create high-quality, culturally responsive music programming for teachers to use in their classrooms. Now, the program is in all 50 states and in more than 100 countries.

CHICAGO, Illinois — Summer craft beer season in Illinois is here! Illinois Craft Beer Week returns May 3-10, starting with the Beer Under Glass festival and fundraiser kicking off the weeklong celebration on Friday, May 3. It's being hosted under 200 feet of glass at Chicago Union Station's Great Hall. There will be approximately 100 craft breweries there for a unique tasting event held at one of Chicago's most iconic venues.

She's using her love of food and her desire to serve to give back to the Quad Cities community. Jefferson is the owner of Chefy Bear on Wheels Community Project. She provides people breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday at her community kitchen in Davenport.

CAMBRIDGE, Illinois — After being delayed several times, the trial for Daylon Richardson, the man accused of hitting and killing Knox Co. Sheriff's Deputy Nicholas Weist is set to begin Monday, February 26. In April 2022, police responded to a Circle K gas station on Main Street in Galesburg after a 911 call of a man with a gun. A chase soon followed on Highway 150 north of town. Deputy Weist was setting up spike strips to stop Richardson's vehicle as it fled from a traffic stop.
