The Register-Mail
The Register-Mail is a daily newspaper located in Galesburg, Illinois, USA. It was in the hands of the Pritchard family from 1896 until 1989, when it was acquired by the Journal Star. Later, in 1996, Copley Press purchased both the Register-Mail and Journal Star for $174.5 million. In 2007, GateHouse Media took over Copley's newspapers in Illinois and Ohio.
