ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Friday is the last day for Georgians to vote early ahead of Tuesday’s presidential primary election. “Voting is important. Every vote counts. I believe that,” Vicky Ferebee, who voted early in Fulton County, said. Voters at the Ponce De Leon Library precinct said it took them less than five minutes to vote Friday morning. Despite knowing each party’s likely presidential candidate, voters still wanted to make their voices heard.

MARIETTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First/Gray News) - Two former Marietta, Georgia, hospital employees are accused of taking a baby’s ashes from a mother’s room and dumping them in an unknown location. When Carla Watson had to have her gallbladder removed last year, she brought a teddy bear with her to Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center. The stuffed animal contained an urn with her stillborn daughter’s ashes in it. “The bear was kind of like a comfort to me,” Watson said.
