CARY, N.C. (WNCN) — A Cary mom has pled guilty to second-degree murder Thursday after leaving her two daughters in a hot car, according to Wake County court documents. Court documents said Launice Shanique Battle, 31, pled guilty as part of a plea deal for an incident in August of 2022. Battle was charged two counts of murder in the deaths of 3-year-old Amora Milbourne and 2-year-old Trinity Milbourne.
