    Syracuse Republicans this week picked Thomas Babilon, a former city hall attorney, to run for Syracuse mayor. Babilon, 53, spent about 10 years working in city hall’s corporation counsel office. He left in 2018 and is now a senior attorney with Hiscock Legal Aid, which provides free legal counsel to low-income people in Onondaga County.

Harris performed best in the city of Syracuse and the eastern suburbs like Fayetteville and Manlius. Trump did best to the north and south of Syracuse in places like Cicero, parts of Lysander and Fabius.
