    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A former Arkansas teacher and leader at Immanuel Baptist Church has taken a plea deal related to sexual assault charges. Reagan Gray, who worked as a teacher for Pulaski County Special School District and volunteer at a local church, was accused of having a sexual relationship with a minor while working as a church volunteer back in April of 2024.

    GLEN ROSE, Ark. — Arkansas State Police are currently investigating an incident where a man was shot by an officer after allegedly stealing from a Dollar General and fleeing on a tractor. According to ASP, 28-year-old Tyler McWaters of Traskwood entered a Dollar General in Glen Rose on Saturday, May 17 around 5 p.m. When entering the store, police said that McWaters was armed with a rifle and stole merchandise before fleeing the scene on a tractor.

    JASPER, Ark. — Arkansas police are currently searching for a missing 4-year-old boy from Jasper. Authorities are looking for Tyler Beau Smith, who is described as being 3 feet tall and weighing around 45 pounds. Police said that Smith was last seen with his mom near 107 S. Oak Street in Jasper around 1:15 p.m.  He has blonde hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, gray cargo pants, and spiderman crocs.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — According to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC), there were over 11,000 turkeys harvested in the state during Arkansas's turkey hunting season which recently ended on Sunday. In total, hunters reported 11,332 turkeys harvested during the state's turkey hunting season -- this number acts as a 22% increase from what Arkansas saw in the 2024 season and is the best turkey season since 2016.
