ST. LOUIS – Police are searching for a driver that left the scene after striking and killing a man on Interstate 70 in north St. Louis overnight Wednesday morning. The crash took place around 12:40 a.m. on eastbound I-70 at Salisbury. The man was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining “catastrophic” injuries from the crash, according to authorities. Eastbound I-70 was closed for an extended period after the crash.

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis City Board of Aldermen is expected to pass legislation Tuesday morning to allocate $30 million from the Rams settlement for tornado relief efforts. The funds, outlined in Board Bill 31, will be used to assist neighborhoods affected by the massive tornado on May 16th. The allocation comes from the interest on the city’s share of the Rams settlement, ensuring the principal amount remains untouched.
