Following the lead of numerous other states and localities requiring pay transparency in job postings, the State of Illinois further amended the Illinois Equal Pay Act of 2003 (IEPA) to accomplish this goal. Effective January 1, 2025, employers must include in any job posting for covered roles the corresponding wage or salary range and a description of the benefits and other compensation offered for the position.
