Golf legend Jack Nicklaus heads for Augusta this week and this year marks the 50th anniversary of his 1975 Masters win. The 18-time Major Champion says a film crew is doing a commemorative video, where he got to reenact his famous 38-foot putt that propelled him to his fifth Masters victory. Mr. Nicklaus has a record six Green Jackets. This year also marks the 60th anniversary of his record-setting Masters victory in 1965.

SAN ANTONIO - Two of the best high school teams around going at it head to head over at Judson. The Rockets with a chance to wrap up district with two games to go but 2nd place Steele trying to extend its chances of winning a district title. Judson up 5 in the 2nd but Kennedy Heiskell knocks down a three pointer and was fouled to cut into that lead quickly (highlights are on the attached video). Not for long. Kayla King hit a jumper. And then Gabby Candelaria, my steal, my bucket.

A tremendous crowd over at Whataburger on Highway 90 in San Antonio for a stop by the Houston Astros Caravan. The man who threw a no hitter last year, Ronel Blanco, was there. So was San Antonio native Forrest Whitley, who's coming off his best season ever in professional baseball. And what a year it was! It was Whitley's first year coming out of the bull pen and it led to a scoreless innings streak that lasted over 20 innings. 46 strikeouts in 34 innings tends to jump off the stat page too.
