A 68 year-old woman died from her injuriesThe parent company of Pontins holiday parks has been charged with corporate manslaughter after part of a ceiling at a Somerset resort collapsed on guests six years ago. Eighteen people were injured at the Brean Sands site in February 2019 when a 40-metre section of structural ducting and ceiling fell inside an entertainment area. Grandmother Wendy Jones, 68, was among six people taken to hospital following the incident. She died in August 2019.

An inquest opened into the death of Morgan Dorsett aged 19A teenage girl died after suffering severe injuries to her face and neck after being attacked by an XL bully. Morgan Dorsett, from Shrewsbury, Shropshire, died following the dog attack which occurred inside a flat on Cobhorn Drive, Withywood, Bristol, on February 26. At the opening of an inquest at Avon Coroners’ Court, it was heard a post-mortem examination gave a provisional cause of death as dog bites to the 19-year-old's neck.

A man confronted by online paedophile hunters was found dead on a motorway having suffered multiple injuries, the opening of an inquest has been told. Adrian Smith, 48, from Chipping Sodbury, south Gloucestershire, featured in a livestream by self-proclaimed "child protection service" groups on the evening of February 21. He was arrested by Avon and Somerset Police that night and released from custody the following day.

A teenager who died in an XL bully dog attack sustained face and neck injuries, the opening of an inquest has heard. Morgan Dorsett, from Shrewsbury, Shropshire, died following the incident inside a flat in Cobhorn Drive, Withywood, Bristol, on February 26. Avon Coroners' Court heard a post-mortem examination gave a provisional cause of death as dog bites to Miss Dorsett's neck. Coroner's officer Alexis Camp told the hearing that Miss Dorsett's death was confirmed at 7.29pm by a paramedic.
