There’s a popular opinion among many young women when it comes to breast cancer. Rachael Ward was no different. “I’m 20 years old this doesn’t apply to me,” Ward said. Unfortunately, she learned at that age, that wasn’t true. “Cancer does not discriminate,” Ward said.

Anna-Claire Butler has a long family history of breast cancer, which makes her high risk. Her grandmother and aunt are both survivors and her mother is now in her own battle. “My mother got diagnosed with breast cancer in August,” Butler said.
