How that came about was during a visit to Africa Alive last week when the zoo kept its doors open into the night for an evening of fun for all ages. Across two nights, more than 4,000 visitors were able to access the attraction after dark... well sunset, as they were treated to a glorious sunny evening that could trick the most imaginative into pretending they were on the savanna.
