Mary O'Farrell's American Bulldog named Katara pounced on Janette Shearer in Glasgow's Garthamlock on April 12 2024. O'Farrell had earlier confronted Miss Shearer who had pressed her buzzer to enter a block of flats. Katara got out and attacked Miss Shearer who fell down a flight of stairs.

A woman claimed that her English teacher boasted about the size of his manhood when she was a student in his class. The 31-year-old gave evidence today at the trial of David Davidson, 49, at Glasgow Sheriff Court. Davidson, of Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, faces four charges of engaging in sexual activity with girls. He is further accused of conducting himself in a disorderly manner and committing breach of the peace.

A pervert doctor who secretly spied on 30 different people has been jailed for 18 months. Ju Young Um, 34, hid tiny cameras in air fresheners and a smoke alarm in the bathroom and spare bedroom of his flat in Hyndland, in Glasgow’s west end. Um also filmed a friend and doctor at staff accommodation in Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary. The anaesthetist filmed people naked, showering, using the toilet and having sex but denied doing anything illegal.

Georgette Ravette, 28, allegedly threatened the man at her home in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire between August 31 and September 5 2023. Court papers state Ravette intended to menace with the man.
