    ELBA, Wis. -- A Beaver Dam woman died Friday night after a head-on collision with another vehicle in the Town of Elba. An initial investigation showed a 2005 Toyota Rav4 was traveling southbound on US Highway 151 in the northbound lanes. It collided with a 2019 Toyota Corolla that was traveling northbound. After the collision, the Rav4 rolled several times. The driver of the Rav4 a 22-year-old Beaver Dam woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

    MADISON, Wis. -- The Dane County Health and Human Needs Opioid Settlement Subcommittee will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 28 to address the allocation of current and future opioid settlement dollars. The events starts at 5:00 p.m. The hearing will be in a hybrid format, virtually and in room 357 of the City-County Building, 210 MLK Jr Blvd. In 2022 and 2023, the Dane County Board of Supervisors approved participation in two national opioid settlements.
