We all know York is a brilliant place to visit and equally we know those historic streets can get a little claustrophobic. So, who is for some indulgent tranquillity? I certainly was during a recent visit to the city. It is fair to say I’ve been on a quest, of late, to put some of York’s finest chippies to the test. This has seen me review Drake’s and Mr Chippy - both flying the flag for the traditional culinary fave. Obviously, as mentioned, York can get very packed.

Leeds will see a number of mobile speed cameras in place this week. The camera sites are placed generally where there have been several incidents that have led to casualties caused by speeding vehicles. These are areas which the police believe collisions are likely to take place in. It has been proven by West Yorkshire Police Camera Enforcement, who work on behalf of West Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership, that frequent mobile enforcement is the most effective method to stop crashes.

Mobile speed cameras will be in place at locations across West Yorkshire this week. They will be positioned to catch speeding drivers in an attempt to make our region’s roads safer. The speed cameras are put in place by West Yorkshire Police on behalf of the West Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership. According to the Camera Partnership, the cameras work by pointing a laser at passing cars.
