Over 220,000 people in Idaho face food insecurity, according to the latest figures from the Idaho Food Bank. In response, Boise High School has launched its own food bank to ensure students are healthy and ready to learn. "This has a huge impact -- so as you can see, it's pretty empty right now -- we stock it consistently twice a week, and we have probably gone through several thousand dollars of food donations," said Amy Nemeth, a math teacher at the school.
