Patients go to the pharmacy only to find their prescriptions canceled due to the systems being offline. Patients like Todd Phillips, who had a below-the-knee amputation a few months ago, said that pales in comparison.

    AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — As victims in six states face the tragic aftermath of Hurricane Helene, relief efforts have begun flowing into impacted areas. Executive Director for the Panhandle Plains Red Cross chapter, Deshun Avery, called on the public to show the Panhandle Spirit and help those in need. The Red Cross is looking for volunteers. They’ll undergo four hours of training and then be placed on a list determining where they'll be sent.

Four years ago, she began her singing journey hoping to put smiles on people's faces. I just try to do my best and if I mess up I know that people will love it either way," said Bryndle.
