Police said 73-year-old Yingli “Lily” Lu was hit by a driver near 6200 South Wasatch Boulevard. The accident happened around 7:00 a.m. on Monday morning. SALT LAKE CITY — Utah officials are now offering $30,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot and killed a wild horse on the Onaqui Heard Management Area. As reported by KSL.com, the horse named Glory was found shot to death on Nov. 10. Now, BLM officials believe the actual shooting happened a week earlier. SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Supreme Court heard arguments on Wednesday on Amendment D, which if passed, would allow lawmakers to change or repeal citizen-led ballot initiatives. A lower court judge voided the question from the ballot earlier this month because she believed the way the legislature worded the question was misleading. The state is now hoping for a reprieve from the Utah Supreme Court. It could likely take days before the court issues a ruling.

Officers heard the gunshots during an un-related call around 12:55 a.m. and responded immediately, Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news releasePolice said they found the two victims, a man and a 24-year-old woman, near the intersection of Exchange Place and State Street.
