45 years ago today a buddy and I cut out of school early and headed to Wrigley. Plunked down a few bucks for a seat behind the Cubs dugout. Watched the Cubs score 22 runs. And lose. Still remember Kingman‘s third HR that day. The longest ball I’ve ever seen hit at Wrigley.
