A MAN has been discovered dead in a home in Tipperary. The body was found at a residence in Ballycrana, Kilross, shortly after 4am this morning. The body remains at the preserved scene while a forensic and technical examination takes place. Gardai have launched an investigation and a post-mortem is due to take place. A Garda spokesperson said investigating officers are exploring all circumstances surrounding the discovery of the man's body.

TWO men have been rushed to hospital after a shooting incident in Wicklow. It is understood that one of the victims was an intended target. The incident occurred shortly after 4.30pm in a housing estate in Delgany, Co Wicklow. One man, aged in his 40s, was shot several times. Another man in his late teens was assaulted during the incident. Both men were rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crime scene has been cordoned off and officers remain in the area.
