SAN ANTONIO - Kennedy White is a legacy at Holmes High School. She grew up on the campus because her mom worked there. But the legacy she leaves is all hers. And it could push her to leaving her mark in pro sports. Kennedy is ranked as the No. 7 student in her class at Holmes. She racked up more than a million dollars' worth of combined scholarships from 14 schools. But as luck would have it, she won't take a dime from those schools.

Sand sifts through the fingers of Jimmy Lekiondo, a Samburu safari guide at Saruni Rhino who specializes in rhino tracking. It blows to the ground as he scans the trees with squinted eyes. Noticing my curiosity, he whispers, “Rhinos can’t see well but are very sensitive to smell. We do this to ensure they don’t catch our scent.” Motioning for me to follow, he cautions, “Walk lightly.” Rhinos are also highly sensitive to sound. “There!” Lekiondo stops and suddenly points.

Newsroom (and this one is weird) debate 🤔: Straw or no straw? And does a Styrofoam cup change things?

It's always been about more than just socks. Our "little sock segment" gives me the chance to tell interesting stories, which is what I love about television news...storytelling. Today's Sock it to Monday features a businesswoman who turned her sock company into so much more. https://t.co/Z28TGHChTh

The VERY DEFINITION of a Monday 😒.. https://t.co/zo7yPvvE76
