At the May 6 Clarion Borough council meeting, Clarion Mayor Jennifer Fulmer-Vinson presented a proclamation for May 1 through the 23, as Remake Learning Days Northwest PA. Launched in 2016, Remake Learning Days is a 23-day festival that celebrates learning opportunities within a child’s community.

    SinnersRarely do movies reach that level of distinction where they garner both cult fandom while moving the progress needle ever forward in the name of cinematic achievement. I have no reservations in writing that Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners” has rightfully earned a spot in this category. Now, off the top of my head, some movies that have also hit this level of cool are classics like “Taxi Driver,” “Rocky,” and “Jaws,” of course.

    Monday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order the White House said is meant "to keep American families safe on the road by ensuring anyone behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle is properly qualified and proficient in English."A statement from the White House said:The Order directs the Secretary of Transportation (Sean Duffy) to rescind guidance that watered down the law requiring English proficiency for commercial drivers.
