CLARION – Clarion County officials approved a $3.5 million line of credit with Farmers National Bank of Canfield on Tuesday morning to assist in financing the county’s ongoing courthouse renovation program. The two-year line of credit will carry an interest rate of 5.8 percent and will be repaid from various grants once the project is completed. Commissioners Wayne Brosius, Ted Tharan and Braxton White unanimously approved the ordinance. “We’re not really borrowing $3.5 million,” explained Brosius.
