TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (KUTV) — A suspect that ran from police has one Taylorsville homeowner looking for ways to slow down traffic in his neighborhood. Chad Gines has had concerns of people speeding down his street for a while, but now he’s shifting his efforts into second gear. It's called the “999 Ride” and it’s a community event that has been scrutinized as being a nuisance and even criminal. Durst was from Draper, and Suiter was from Santaquin, where his community is supporting his family. It’s been a tough time for the Suiter family. On Monday, 2news told you about people in a Murray neighborhood that are "mad" about the speeding on their street. The city told 2news they're aware of the speeding concerns on 4800 South and other areas of the city. They said they appreciate how engaged residents have been in raising those concerns.

UPDATE: They've been able to catch 11 of the 13 dogs. The trapper is getting there today to try and get the last two this weekend. She told me that the last couple are always the hardest since they're usually the most skittish and they've seen all the others get captured.

DOGS DUMPED: 13 dogs were found dumped in the Emery County desert by two tourists. They've been feeding and giving them water for a week. Eight have been caught, and a trapper is heading out there this weekend to try and catch the rest. The full story at 10pm on @KUTV2News https://t.co/BS5ssyRtxI
