A sagging bridge over Bull Bayou continued to close a section of Cedarglade Road west of the Garland County Landfill on Monday. County Judge Darryl Mahoney said last week's flooding undermined the footing of the prefabricated bridge's center pier, causing the deck to sink about 18 inches in the middle. He said the bridge could be out of service for an extended period. It spans about 100 feet.
