    SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Bryan Stevenson founded The Legacy Museum in Montgomery, Alabama. The core mission was to end mass incarceration. His research uncovered a disproportionate number of poor people, Black and Brown people getting much harsher sentenced than Whites who had committed similar offenses. He also worked to keep a record of the documented lynching’s in America. A group of Statesboro residents including Adrianne McCollar and Dr. Patrick Novotny have become partners in the mission.
