TUCSON, ARIZ. (KGUN 9) — Santa Rita Fire crews put out a fire off the 16000 block of South Delgado Road Thursday. Fire officials say they found a large pile of debris on fire, generating a lot of smoke in the area of East Sahuarita Road and South Country Club Road at around 2:20 p.m. Crews were able to control the fire within 15 minutes of arriving and spent several hours handling debris to make sure the fire was put out. Corona De Tucson Firefighters also assisted.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Tucson Fire Department is investigating the cause of a Wednesday morning house fire near 22nd Street and Wilmot Road. According to fire officials, crews responded to the house fire reported around 7:16 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Rook Avenue. TFD says the single-story home was vacant. No injuries were reported.

UPDATE (12:00 a.m.)According to school officials, the Pima Community College El Rio campus has been cleared. UPDATE (11:05 a.m.)Tucson Police says officers are currently on the scene of a "person in crisis." The area in the 1200 block of N. Riverview Blvd., off Speedway just west of I-10, remains blocked off to the public.
