For the 2025 edition of the first major on the men's golf calendar, 19 of those methods were used to book a spot in the field. The boys basketball season in the Greater Savannah area ended on the highest of notes as Savannah High came through with a dramatic rally in the final minutes to beat McIntosh Academy to win the GHSA Class A Division II championship. It was the first state title for the Blue Jackets since 1998, and the program's 12th state crown — the most GHSA state championships of any team in Georgia history.
