COOK COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) -- A rollover crash left delays on the inbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway on Tuesday morning. The crash happened before 5:30 a.m. between Central and Laramie near the Lawndale neighborhood. Chopper 7 was over the scene at about 6 a.m. showing a rolled off the Eisenhower. It appeared as if the car went through the fence and ended up on Lexington near the Secretary of State Office.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Could commuters get an early Christmas present this week? The Kennedy Expressway reversible lanes were closed in March for construction. The express lanes have been closed from the Edens Junction to Ohio Street. This is phase two of the $150 million three-year project. Illinois Department of Transportation said they plan to provide an update on Tuesday morning regarding ongoing projects. Earlier this year, IDOT said the work was expected be completed by the end of fall.

COOK COUNTY (WLS) -- A semi overturned on the southbound exit ramp of I-57 on Monday morning. The crash happened on the exit ramp to the I-294 Tri-State Tollway in the south suburbs. Tollway cameras showed a white semi on its side. It appeared that the truck did not lose its load. At about 6:30 a.m. firefighters and crews arrived to the scene. COOK COUNTY (WLS) -- The southbound lanes of I-57 were shut down in the south suburbs on Tuesday morning. The crash happened on I-57 near 127th Street and left a closure between Burr Oak Avenue and the Cal-Sag Channel Bridge. Chopper 7 was over the scene around 6 a.m. Two vehicles were involved in the crash. Video shows as one of the cars rolled over onto the second car. So far, minor injuries have been reported.
