GARDAÍ are investigating the theft of oil burner motors and ignition starters from a number of properties in the area of Earlsfort, Buncrana. The thefts are believed to have occurred between approximately 3.30am and 4.30am on the morning of Sunday last, May 25. Gardaí are appealing for dash-cam footage from the area from between 3am and 5am on that date. “We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have observed a man in the area on foot who was of slim build and wearing a hat.

THE funeral arrangements have been confirmed for the Donegal woman who died following a fatal road collision near Omagh over the weekend. 82-year-old Bernadette Cranley (pictured) from Lifford lost her life in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday. Her funeral Mass will take place at St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford on Thursday afternoon. Police confirmed on Sunday that Ms Cranley was the driver of a silver Toyota Vitz involved in the collision. She died at the scene.
