Dylan Beavers slammed a long leadoff home run to put Norfolk out in front, and the Tides never looked back in a 15-6 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers on Wednesday afternoon. Beavers made it 9-1 in the third with his second solo shot, part of the Tides' slugging of five long balls. Omaha starter Cruz Noriega (0-1) was pulled in the second inning after allowing eight runs, three homers and three walks.

Creighton baseball jumped out quickly in the first inning and Omaha could never get any offense started as the Bluejays rolled to a 10-0 win in seven innings on Tuesday night at Anderson Field. Nolan Sailors opened the scoring with an RBI double and Ben North slammed a two-run shot, one of his two dingers on the day. Ian Koosman took over from there, allowing just two hits in five innings, striking out seven Mavericks and walking just one.
