ACWORTH, Ga. — Shortly after U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene took the stage at her town hall in Cobb County, commotion broke out in the room, which resulted in the police getting involved. At least two people, were tased, according to Acworth Police. The event was held at the Acworth Community Center. The congresswoman, who represents Georgia's 14th district, was met with contention from some members of the crowd.

ATLANTA — A fleeing driver is in the hospital and another driver is dead following a pursuit that ended in a crash in Little Five Points, according to Georgia State Patrol. This all started Monday night just before 8 p.m. GSP said a trooper saw a vehicle speeding and making "erratic" lane changes on I-20 East near Boulevard. "The trooper activated his emergency equipment to perform a traffic stop when the vehicle failed to stop, initiating a pursuit," a spokesperson with GSP said.

WALTON COUNTY, Ga. — A teacher at a Walton County high school is no longer with the district after a video circulated appearing to show him spelling out the N-word on the board in a classroom. The incident occurred at Walnut Grove High School, the Walton County School District acknowledged in a statement posted to the district website. 11Alive is not showing the video or linking to it due to the inappropriate language used.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The parents of a 2-year-old have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Piedmont Healthcare and others, claiming their daughter died "needlessly because of sub-standard medical care" as she experienced an allergic reaction. According to the complaint, little Maya Getahun died on Oct. 7, 2024. The suit stems from what happened during her visit to Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville last year.
