The Mishawaka Rise’n Roll doughnut shop has relocated to Centennial Place at 218 W. Cleveland Road. The move was prompted by the expiration of the shop's lease at its previous location and a desire for a smaller space. The new location is smaller but still offers a variety of doughnuts, baked goods and beverages. Fear not, doughnut junkies. The Mishawaka Rise’n Roll recently relocated to Centennial Place at 218 W.

Multiple tornadoes caused widespread destruction and death across six Midwestern states on Palm Sunday, April 11, 1965. Elkhart County, Indiana, was particularly hard hit, with 60 fatalities and catastrophic damage. President Lyndon B. Johnson visited the devastated area and pledged federal support for the victims. The 60th anniversary of the disaster will be commemorated with an author appearance and community event at the Elkhart Public Library.
