DETROIT & GRAND RAPIDS, MI - He stars in the Netflix comedy series, “Tires,” which will stream season two beginning on June 5. Shane Gillis will bring his stand-up tour to Michigan. The tour extension announcement comes fresh off a 28-city international leg which included performances at the London O2 and Dublin’s 3Arena. Gillis will perform at 11 additional cities, including stops at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Friday, August 15 and at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Saturday, August 16.

DETROIT - A piece of Michigan’s history is about to undergo a huge renovation to ensure it will be around at least another 100-years. Opening in 1925, the James Scott Memorial Fountain on Detroit’s Belle Isle turns 100 this month. Beginning this summer, the fountain will undergo $6 million in renovations. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources says the project will take about 18-months to complete. The fountain plaza, adjacent sidewalk and Fountain Drive will close to the public through 2026.
