Now in its 8th year, the Michigan Pez Convention takes place over a four day period from Wednesday, June 18 through Sunday, June 22, bringing in Pez collectors from around the country.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - One of the biggest Christian Rock bands in music history is reuniting and going on a 30th anniversary tour. 4-time Grammy Award-winners, Third Day, will bring their tour to Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on April 4, 2026. Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. GRAMMY-Award winning artist, Zach Williams, will open for Third Day.

DETROIT - A major construction milestone has just been reached on the Gordie Howe International Bridge project as only less than 5% of construction work remains. After five years, the two massive tower cranes on both sides of the Detroit River are coming down. The cranes reached heights of 797 feet at their peak. The tower cranes first arrived in 2020 and took 35 hours over three days to assemble. They climbed in height throughout construction to keep up with the bridge towers.

He is one of the hosts of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” and even has a key to the city of Kalamazoo. Kalamazoo native, Jordan Kleppler, will be among a number of famous faces playing “Celebrity Who Wants to be a Millionaire” this upcoming season which debuts on ABC on Wednesday, July 23, according to US Weekly. The game show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, features pairs of celebrity contestants playing together trying to win $1 million for the charity of their choice.

They became a group 45 years ago, entering and winning a talent show back in high school in 1980. They now hope to win one of the biggest talent shows in the world, “America’s Got Talent" on NBC. The Funkateers, from Inkster in Metro Detroit, introduced themselves backstage to host Terry Crews as being from Detroit, Michigan. Crews excitedly told them he was from Flint.
