KERSEY — Shoe Sensation is holding a Sock Drive to benefit the Guardian Angel Center located in Kersey. The business will be collecting new socks in the original packaging for school age children K-12. Sock purchases are one of the biggest expenses for the center, according to Shoe Sensation Market Sales Director David Bateman. “The mission of the Guardian Angel Center is to supplement the clothing needs of children whose families struggle financially,” he said.

Reed, at the school’s sixth re-designation as one of Pennsylvania’s Schools to Watch celebration, said the machine was purchased with a grant the nonprofit foundation received from Martin’s of DuBois, while realtor Brian Leech funded the rest of the project.
