A woman (50s), one male teen and two men (20s and 30s) were arrested on Tuesday in connection with an investigation into the discovery of the body of a man in Bray, Co Wicklow in January. The four individuals are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a garda station in the Wexford/Wicklow Division. Gardaí said they are continuing to investigate all circumstances surrounding the death of the man following an incident in Bray on Sunday, January 19th.

A male in his late teens died in a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Co Leitrim on Tuesday. The crash occurred on R204 at Aghavilla, Carrigallen, Co Leitrim, at around 3.10pm. A male passenger of the tractor was pronounced dead at the scene, while the male driver of the tractor, also in his late teens, was brought to Cavan General Hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

A man (20s) was arrested after €446,000 of cannabis was seized by Revenue at Dublin Airport on Tuesday. Revenue Customs Officers seized 22.3kg of cannabis, and the man was arrested by gardaí. He was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at a garda station in North Dublin. He has since been charged and was expected to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon, April 15th, 2025 at 4pm. Investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.

A ninth man arrested in the investigation of Quham Babatunde's fatal stabbing in Dublin has been charged with violent disorder and assaulting the victim's friend. Mr Babatunde, who was 34 and from Nigeria, died after being injured on Anne Street South in the city centre at around 3 am on February 15th. It happened after a row started among revellers leaving a Valentine's night music event.
