AURORA, IL — The 114th season of the Aurora Farmers Market is set to open June 7. Said to be the oldest farmers market in Illinois, the Aurora Farmers Market will return to Water Street Square, 65 S. Water St., from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday through Oct. 4. "We are so excited to kick off our 114th season," market manager Felicia Freitag said in a statement.

AURORA, IL — Drivers who use High Street Bridge in Aurora will have to find alternate routes this summer. The High Street Bridge will close for repairs beginning June 2. The closure is expected to last about two months, officials said. The construction area will span the bridge that starts at Pierce Street and ends at Front Street.
