The cases are in an unvaccinated man in his 20s, two unvaccinated children, and a woman in her 50s and a man in his 60s with unknown vaccination status. The city says that anyone at the following places at the listed times should monitor for symptoms. Anyone with symptoms should contact their healthcare provider.

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico (KVIA) -- The New Mexico Department of Health just reported Doña Ana County's first measles case. The department says an unvaccinated child who tested positive is the 63rd New Mexican reported to have measles. Officials did not provide any other details about who the child is. They did provide the following dates and time when residents may have been exposed to measles:April 2, from noon - 6 p.m. at Kid’s Kountry Place Preschool and Childcare, 3704 Elks Drive.

LAS VEGAS, New Mexico (KVIA) -- Sam Bregman, District Attorney of the 2nd Judicial District, will announce his candidacy to become the Democratic nominee for New Mexico Governor. He is expected to make the announcement at a gathering of his supporters in Las Vegas, New Mexico at 4 PM today. Bregman's career as a litigator started 30 years ago. He has served as an Albuquerque City Councilor, chair of the New Mexico Democratic Party, and as Bernalillo County District Attorney.
