Tight end Lance Mason, a Sooners' target at the position in the spring transfer portal window, chose Wisconsin over Oklahoma and Purdue on Friday. FARGO — Those who regularly pass the Fargo Landfill may have noticed something missing recently. The landfill’s wind turbine was taken down on March 12, after it began having issues about six months ago. The city had the turbine inspected and determined that it was obsolete and was becoming a safety hazard, so they had it taken down. It was installed nearly 15 years ago and was part of the landfill’s renewable energy program.
Moorhead intersection has area business owner concerned

MOORHEAD — A Moorhead intersection that’s part of the detour bypassing construction on First Avenue North has seen a rise in collisions. The corner of Second Avenue and Ninth Street North was where a driver suffering a medical episode crashed into a house. The owner of Olsen Awning and Canvas, near the intersection, told KVRR News that he’s seen many close calls and that more needs to be done to keep drivers safe.
