RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Here’s a super-simple way to prepare that popular Easter treat! The recipe: Combine ½ cup mayonnaise with 1-2 Tbsp Yellow Mustard, 1/2 teaspoon dill weed, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. In a small bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. Cut eggs lengthwise in half; remove yolks and set whites aside. In another bowl, mash yolks; add to mayonnaise mixture, mixing well. Spoon or pipe filling into egg whites.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Today will be the hottest day this workweek with highs well on up into the 90s. The record high for Rapid City is 99 set way back in 1898. We will challenge that record today. Isolated thunderstorms are possible near, north and east of the Black Hills. Strong, gusty winds and some hail will be possible with the storms, but certainly not everybody will see storms or severe severe today.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Partly cloudy skies with humid conditions can be expected today. As a couple of upper level disturbances drop into the area, a few isolated storms will develop. The first storms will fire in the northern hills later this afternoon, with additional activity moving in from northeast Wyoming into western South Dakota this evening. A few of the storms could produce strong, gusty winds and hail. The big weather story the rest of the week will be the heat.

106 degrees in downtown RC today, 107 at the airport. Both record highs for the day. Today was only the 7th time since records began that temperatures reached 106 degrees in town Rapid City. We just missed the all time record high of 107 set on a couple of days in July, 1954.
