RAPID CITY, S.D. - With the school year winding down, three more student - athletes from Rapid City Stevens made their college dreams official. Sydney Wathen, Dakota State University, Volleyball Sydney Wathen signed a letter of intent on April 9 to play volleyball at Dakota State University in Madison. Wathen started playing volleyball in the sixth grade. She played outside hitter for a Stevens team that finished 23-15 this past season.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The ProRodeo Hall of Fame announced Tuesday its class of inductees for 2025. This year's class features ten individuals including former saddle bronc rider Tom Miller from South Dakota. Miller was born in Rapid City and grew up on the family ranch south of Faith. He later attended Black Hills State College in Spearfish where he was a member of the rodeo team.

BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. - The high school track and field season continued Wednesday with the 24th Annual Center of the Nation Invite in Belle Fourche. The track meet was suppose to take place on Thursday. But it was moved up a day because of the unfavorable weather conditions expected later in the week. Sixteen teams from South Dakota and Wyoming competed at Lou Graslie Field. For complete results, click here .
