Milo, the two-year-old crossbreed, is currently in the care of the Dogs Trust charity based in Snetterton. A Dogs Trust spokesman said Milo has "been through so much in his young life" and came into the kennels "through no fault of his own", but still manages to put a smile on the face of everyone he meets at the centre. Milo loves putting his paws up and having a cuddle, and also enjoys going out for walks.

Drive a classic steam engine and take a turn on the carousel from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at an upcoming rally. Strumpshaw Steam Engine Rally is returning to Strumpshaw Hall, near Brundall, from May 24 to May 26. Around 40 large steam engines from the 19th and early 20th centuries will be on display, including the Ex-Mayor which has been refurbished ahead of its 100th birthday this year. Visitors aged over 18 will even be able to climb behind the wheel of an engine themselves.

The animals were attacked while grazing on Barnham Cross Common in Thetford. Their owners, who run the meat wholesaler Little Flockers, are now publicly sharing their heartbreak to encourage dog owners to keep their pets under control. "Having to treat and dispatch a sheep that has been mauled to death by an uncontrolled dog is a deeply distressing experience," a spokeswoman said.
